The Mustang Mach-E Rally is set to compete in this year's Rebelle Rally. At the helm of the lightly modified electric SUV will be Kaleigh Miller and Bailey Campbell. Miller won the Rebelle Rally in the 4x4 class in 2016, 2017 and 2020. Campbell has been a Rebelle Rally driver and finished second in the Baja 1000 and fourth in Class 1 of the Mint 400. Together, they will put the first-ever rally-inspired EV from Ford to the test in the Electrified Designation of the X-CrossTM category.
"Ford has entered vehicles in the Rebelle Rally for the last three years and now is the right time for an electric effort. We're excited to see Mustang Mach-E Rally take on 1,500 miles of the amazing dirt roads, trails, and two tracks of California and Nevada.”
Donna Dickson, chief engineer, Mustang Mach-E
The Rebelle Rally is the first women’s off-road navigation rally of its type in the United States, a unique and demanding event based on the elements of headings, hidden checkpoints, time and distance using maps, compass and roadbook. It takes place Oct. 12-21.
